My Question to the Yahoo Community
I asked this question about my sleeping problem and got an interesting answer about polyphasic sleeping patterns. This got me quite interested and I started looking up more articles over the internet, trying to find more information about this pattern of sleep. Turns out there are plenty of people out there who were willing to try this and decided to blog about it. Also, i came to find out that this pattern of sleep was used by Da Vinci (or supposedly used by Da Vinci). I figure if I use this then I can maximize the activity of my brain and make more time for myself while I'm awake. Thus, giving me more time to procrastinate on doing my homework, but eventually getting it done.
I've decided that the best sleeping schedule for me would be at the times of 2:30, 6:30, and 10:30(am and pm). This would mean that I would take six 3 hour naps throughout the day. I would have to sleep through one of my classes though. I figured I needed to at least take on nap during the school day so I had to find the right classes to do it in. 30 minutes into my 2nd period classes seems like the most logical situation for me. It gives me time to get to class and get atleast a 10 minute headstart before I have to sleep at the right time (of 10:30). In the end I will be maximizing the time I get to study for these classes so they can take the hit, plus I doubt those teachers would care much if I was to just take a nap in their classes.
Tomorrow I plan on trying this schedule out as sort of a trail run. I have already tried to take to 30 minute nap at the time of 10:30. There wasn't much luck with this though. I think it was because I was in anticipation of it and was to focused on making myself go to sleep. It should work better around 2:30 when im actually a bit tired. The trail run in actuality starts tomorrow at 2:30 and hopefully ill be tired enough to make the naps work for me. No one really reads my blog so im just going to have wish myself luck.
GOOD LUCK ME!!
